player profile

I am 46 years old and originally from Massachusetts but currently living in Las Vegas where I am finishing up my PhD in history. I have been a bowler for about 25 years. I have done tournaments all over New England as well as in Nevada and have competed in the USBC Open championships off and on since 2004. I currently serve as a demo leader for Brunswick Bowling Products, which has given me the opportunity to work with several great pro shops in the west. I received training in layouts and fitting from the late Mo Pinel and ran a few clinics for him in Las Vegas. I am very passionate about growing the sport and try to share my knowledge with others.

Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?

I grew up with candelpin bowling, but while in college during the late 90s a friend took me ten pin bowling for the first time. I fell in love and joined my first league in 2001.

What Do You Love About the Sport?

I love the friendships I have made. The bowling world is like a family and no matter where I travel, I know someone who bowls in the area. I have had the opportunity since living in Vegas to meet hundreds of bowlers who come here for tournaments, many of whom have become close friends.

Favorite Bowling Memory

Shooting my 800 series, which tied the women’s state record in Massachusetts.

Who is Your Favorite Bowler?

I am a huge fan of Dasha Kovalova. She is such a great bowler with a fabulous personality. I was also a fan of Danny Wiseman during my formative years as a bowler.

Awards & Achievements

I won a few tournaments back home in Massachusetts and have had multiple top ten finishes in state, city, and association tournaments as well.

Bowling Accomplishments

I have one 300 game and an 826 series.
