I am 39 years old, I live in DeLand, Florida. Grew up in New Smyrna Beach. I have been bowling since I was 4 years old. I bowled for my high school team all 4 year. New Smyrna Beach High School home of the Barracudas. During my senior year I made it to the first ever high school state bowling tournament as an individual and finished 3rd. After high school I attended Bethune-Cookman University to finish my college career. During my time with BCU I made several All-Tournament Teams and NCAA Team honors. Today, I bowl at Sunshine Bowling Center in DeLand.
Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?
My parents got my into bowling, they were my coaches throughout my childhood and even were my coaches during my high school career.
What Do You Love About the Sport?
This sport has been a huge part of my life and my families. I love the competitive tournaments, the team atmosphere but also being able to compete as an individual. I have been lucky enough with this sport to build amazing friends and bonus families! This sport has also allowed me to travel and visit different places. I love traveling and bowling in different centers.
Favorite Bowling Memory
I have many favorite memories. One my my favorites will always be my first 300. It was the final season at the bowling center I grew up in (it was closing down). I made my mom sit down in the bowling circle and I sat on her lap the whole time after every shot. Little did I know that as I was stringing strikes, my dad was sitting a few lanes down and brother who came home from college snuck in and was hiding in the pro shop with two of my best friends. When I threw my 12th ball and struck I turned around and everyone was there. Even families of other youth bowlers stayed. Man they can hide well. My other favorite would have to be breaking the record back to back years with my women’s state team. That was awesome to break the record our first year together, but to come back to the next and break our own record!
Definitely my favorites.
Who is Your Favorite Bowler?
Growing up I always admired and watched Kim Terrell-Kearney. She was so smooth on the approach and her arm swing was something I aspired to have. (Still my favorite to this day)

FAVORITE COOLWICK PRODUCTs
I LOVE my jerseys. They are lightweight and love the design team taking my ideas and bringing them to life. I get so many compliments and truly stay cool when I am bowling.
Another product I like are the pullovers and jogger pants. On travel days they are the best to be comfortable and still promote my favorite companies.
