Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?
The drive to stay competitive got me started in bowling. High school and college athletics were winding down and being the competitive person that I am, I wanted to find a sport to learn and compete. My first ever bowling ball was Brunswick Power Groove, and from the very beginning I knew I was going to be hooked and just wanted to continue getting better. |
What Do You Love About the Sport?
There’s a lot to love about the sport of bowling. The number one thing for me is the people! There are so many great people in our industry, and I feel insanely lucky to have met the people that I have throughout my journey. The competitiveness is another thing I love about it. The drive to get better. Never feeling satisfied, even after a tournament win or a 300 game. Bowling is a sport where you can continue to learn and grow as a player l. |
Favorite Bowling Memory
Nationals in Las Vegas last year. Team event specifically. We had gotten off to a bad start game 1 (934 I believe). But we never gave up, and had a solid game two. Game 3 is what was really special. One of my teammates was able to pop off 300 and we shot a 1215 which I believe was one of the top 5 team games of the entire tournament. We ended up finishing top 50 and I’m looking forward to competing with them guys again this year in Reno! |
Who is Your Favorite Bowler?
Dom Barrett.
I just love watching the guy bowl. His game is so effortless and the hard work and dedication to the sport is something that I don’t think you can overlook. Whenever I’m watching the PBA streams, I catch myself following how Dom is doing quite a bit. |
