Hi! I’m Heather the founder of BowlFit and I am 34, been bowling for 30 years now! My home center is the awesome ABC Gates bowl in Rochester NY. I went to Robert Morris University for college, coached at Central Missouri, Roberts Wesleyan, and now currently the head coach of the William Smith College NCAA team. I’ve been bowling on the PWBA tour for the last 6 seasons.

I love to lift weights 💪🏽 and spend time with our two fur babies 🐕

Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?

My brother and dad were my coaches and role models that got me started bowling when I was 4 years old!

What Do You Love About the Sport?

I love that there is ALWAYS something to learn and improve on. It forces you to be very focused on the process rather than results oriented. I love that competing in this sport teaches you to become a more resilient human in so many ways.

Favorite Bowling Memory

It used to be when our college team made our best run at Nationals with a 3rd place finish in El Paso. But after losing my dad this year I’ve realized what I will always cherish most are all the memories of my dad being there as my biggest fan!

Who is Your Favorite Bowler?

I looked up to Kim Terrell-Kearney the most because she was a great bowler but also has the kindest soul on and off the lanes (while still being fierce!)

Currently my hubby Jason Sterner is also my favorite 🙂
