player profile

39 years old from Fayetteville, Georgia. I’ve been bowling since 4 years old, and my home bowling center is Fayetteville Fun Bowl.

Who / What Got You Started in Bowling?

My dad was the general manager at Fayetteville Fun Bowl, so I grew up in the bowling center and everyone in my family bowled, so naturally I followed suit.

What Do You Love About the Sport?

I love that we play on an invisible field that’s always changing, and it becomes more about strategy, repetition, and thinking.  Being the biggest, strongest, toughest, and smartest does not guarantee you a win. There’s no one style that works constantly because the game and environment are always changing, so you have to adapt and evolve in order to stay up with the times. The life span to compete is much longer than other sports, so if you want to bowl into your late 50/60s there’s an option.

Favorite Bowling Memory

My favorite Bowling memory is throwing a 6-bagger in Portland, Maine on the “King Of The Lane” show, then cracking open a PBR, toasting a fan, and taking a drink. Epic!

Who is Your Favorite Bowler?

Norm Duke was my favorite growing up. The work ethics, mental toughness, and spare game were inspirational! The way he owned the crowds and used their energy still gives me goosebumps. Just to hear Duuuuuuke; gives me freaking chills. Never seen a 5’5 athlete look & feel that imitating.
